All are excellent suggestions, thanks. I’d already “broaden my scope” to include all of the regiments in Liddell’s Brigade and found an excellent web page on the 6th Arkansas Infantry. The beauty of this message board is the contact it can provide to researchers, like Mr. Bryan Howerton, who freely and happily share their knowledge with the rest of us.
