Yes, well thanks again for all the information re the 10th. My great grandfather J M Bradford and his brother S T Bradford both joined on the 16th of July 1861 in Springfield Arkansas. Samuel survived the war and returned home to Scotland AR. Do you know if the 10th was indeed an all volunteer unit or were these men responding to the threat of arrest coming from the govenor of Arkansas.

Their younger brother, Howard H Bradford, enlisted on the 30th of June 1862. He served in Company D of the 36th Arkansas Infantry. He died somewhere I believe in Camp Hope Arkansas. I would like to know more about his service record and where he is buried. Is there a web site that details movement of the various Arkansas Infantry units.
