I have collected all the paperwork that I need to order my civil war ancestor,Henry Dee Littreal's headstone,and I want to thank all of you for your help.I ordered his civil war file from the National Archives and received them,they were very interesting.On filing out the form for his headstone I have encountered a problem,I have no birth date for my civil war veteran,and it was not listed on his civil war file,all docunmentation for his birth burned in a house fire after he died in May of 1908,all his children,and friends are also deceased,and none of us knows the date,month and year that he was born.I am afraid without a date of birth that the headstone will not be approved.Can someone tell me what I should do now?Thank you.
