Silas Turnbo's History of the Twenty Seventh

Hey guys! I ordered the Silas Turnbo book... and I LOVE it! I hate to think about finishing it, I don't want it to end... my question is what happened to this man. Where is he buried, when did he die... and what happened to the books, or journals that he sent to the publisher in Kansas. Any more books that any of you could recommend? I also received the war record and pension record that I ordered... I was disappointed, because they where almost unreadable. I was interested in how much money my gg grandma might have drawn from gg grandpa's war pension. That was not available and I also was interested in knowing how he was injured. That was also not included, but I do have some documents... and I am grateful for that. My son had a great trip to Gettysburg. Hope you are all well! Happy Spring...

waiting for ole' Peter Cottontail in Arizona!
