Frank, the marker you found is that of Francis Marion Boyd who served in Captain Rieff's Company Arkansas Mounted Volunteers (1861) and later Co. K, 35th Arkansas Infantry (1862-1865). He was born, lived and died in Washington County. Born June 14, 1840; died April 28, 1907.

The guy who served in Co. D, 3rd Arkansas Infantry, was a Drew County man. The one who served in Co. D, 7th Arkansas Infantry, was a Lawrence County man.
