Like you, I've looked through the report many times over the years, but I was always looking for the records of specific soldiers. It was a case of not seeing the forest for the trees, I guess, because the other night it suddenly snapped into focus, and I realized that there names which weren't in my database. I sampled a typical company and found nearly 20 names in just that one company that are missing from the Compiled Service Records. If that holds true for the rest of the companies in the various regiments, it's going to reveal a bunch of formerly unaccounted for soldiers.
