my g.g.grandfather pvt.thomas hamilton adkisson a native of pulaski,co,georgia moved to conecuh co,alabama in 1859 when the war between the states began he volunteered for co,e ,38th alabama infantry along with his brotherinlaw w.a.j. hodo both wounded but survived the war moving too leon co, texas in late 1872,t.h.adkisson died in dublin ,erath co,texas on may 30th 1915 there is a confederate stone on his grave at old dublin city cemetery.
