I am wondering if the action of July 11th, 1864 near Pine Bluff "where there was fighting all day", was not what was referred to as the Battle of Branchville.

I can not find a date for this battle right now, but from the diary of Sgt. August Bondi of Company "K" 5th Kansas Cavalry describes this fight as a pretty good affair.

Sorry for lousy records keeping that I can not find my references right now.
