Re: Any books on Steele's capture of Little Rock?

Hello. I spoke with my friend Sherryl Miller at the Lonoke County Museum.
Mrs. Miller suggested that you contact Shirley McGraw at the McCrary Regional Library in Lonoke. The number there is 501-676-6635. My friend at the museum says that Ms. McGraw knows the material and can quote it. There are books by Mark Christ, and Tom DeBlack which might be just as helpful
as "The Divison" regarding the fall of Little Rock.
The man who is the author, Tom, has moved on and is not interested in reprints, etc. Stephanie and he married and the last we heard from the man he was perhaps in Arizona.
There is a copy of "The Division" that is for reference only at the Lonoke Library.
I have a copy which I purchased way back when the man was peddling it one copy at a time. I intend to hang on to it.
I was especially interested as I had kin who were at Little Rock and of course all my other kin fought for the Confederacy anyway.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
Linda
