Either on the battlefield or in the small town of Leola where some were buried. However, there is no known location of any CW burials. The only thing I have ever ran across was I believe from a State Highway Dept road widening in the 60's or 70's where they dug into a burial along the highway which was within the battlefield area. However, due to the proximity of an indian mound, they stated it was indian burials. However, the thing that strikes me as strange the remains were all side by side almost like a mass burial. I don't know of any of the Indians of that era burying their dead in that fashion. The exact location is unknown to me and I have never been able to find the source where I first found it.
