Thanks again, Bryan! I am now convinced that the soldiers, Thomas and James Drew, were the Governor’s sons. Everything points to it. One thing that was bothering me was the fact that James appeared in the 1860 Sebastian County census as James “W.” A check with the Soldiers and Sailors System, however, revealed that he had an alternate name, which was James “M” Drew. You and Frank are very appreciated, and thanks for the time you spent on the web.
