Hi Jeff.. I don't know anything about George's surrender or parole. I've just assumed that the 10th disbanded after their fight with the US 2nd Arkansas cavalry regiment at Lewisburg. That was on February 12, 1865. According to what I've read, they were destroyed as an 'organized' fighting force there.

Does the diary mention Lewisburg, and does it say anything about what they did afterward?
