Re: Capt. Walton Company in Hunters Regt.

Thanks to you and George for sharing the information. Some of what George mentioned is in the diary. This diary is very interesting. There are many lists. I know my grandfather "Capt. Thomas Jefferson Morrison" was a scout most of the time and funded most of the food and clothing for his company. There are lists of battles, number died, captured etc. I may put it all on a blog I started..(all new to me so still learning how to do it all).

My grand mother shared many stories that suppliment the diary. She was in her early 30's when she married my grandfather and they had my mother when he was 70 when she was born and lived until she was 24. I am 81 and am trying to get all this information out, there are many names in the diary, information about where some of them came from, color of hair and eyes....lots of information.

My daughter has a blog she started and we might put some of the transcripts from the diary on it. http://mountainriter.blogspot.com/

I am thinking Hunter is from Missouri too. There is something in his diary or elsewhere that has sent me that direction....need to locate it.

Thanks for the info.
Jeff
