More Arkansas Unionists

In the course of some unrelated research I stumbled across some more Arkansas boys who served in the Union Army. I found a few Carroll County men in the 8th Missouri State Militia Cavalry (there may be more), and a dozen or so men (there may be more) who served in the 2nd Missouri Artillery -- mostly in Batteries E and M. I don't have time to pursue this line of research any further at the moment, but I thought I'd give you all a heads-up about it, in case any of you are interested in the subject of Arkansas Unionists.

Those Carroll County boys sure seemed to get around. When I get time, I'll try to track down more information and post it here. Incidentally, the 8th Missouri State Militia Cavalry seems to have had a checkered reputation. If what little I've read about them is true, they may have been guilty of committing some atrocities against civilians. I'll try to find out more.
