While browsing through a report of the Adjutant-General of Kansas, looking for one thing, I found something else -- a whole bunch of Arkansas men who served in the 13th Kansas Infantry. I found nearly a dozen men in just one company, and spot-checked a couple more companies and found still more Arkansans. Most seem to be from Franklin County and vicinity. I guess I'll add this to my ever-growing stack of research projects to do someday.
