First, I would suggest you visit the Gerdes site to see what it says.
(Whatever I say, if Doyle or Bryan disagree with me, go with what they say, okay?)
Finding a muster card means that some records were kept.
Secondly, you would not believe the information I found in one of my gg grandmother's widow's
application for a pension. It was a regular gold mine. I am nost sure, but I think the pension
would end with the death of the veteran, and then the widow's may have had to be filed then.
At least that was the way it went in my family.
