Have been re-reading Shermans memoirs and on front jacket, picture of Billy in uniform, with one hand tucked in jacket. This pose was very common among officers of both sides. Just wondering, was this considered the "hip" thing for officers to do when poseing for a picture, or does this pose mean something?
