"Still I would love to be like the old proverbial blind sow who finds the acorn (button) every once in a while!"

Hey Anthony, I remember something about you and a certain Jefferson Davis Cook, and a cannon ball, two rifles and bayonets and something about Jenkins Ferry a couple of decades ago now. Talk about blind hogs, how many people walked over those things in the many years since the battle? But, I will agree finding a button would be nice. I am trying to convience somebody that such pieces of Arkansas History as the prewar Arkansas Militia and Arkansas Military Institute buttons should be reproduced like the Arkansas Militia Belt buckles. Somebody like the Arkansas Old State House Museum or whatever they call the Old Arkansas Territorial Restoration Museum now.

Hope you fellows will be coming back home pretty soon. Hopefully before Christmas.
