Doyle, yes I guess that does count... however, one AMI button would probably be valued at about a months salary or more depending on its condition. I look forward to getting back and I plan to do some "hunting" while I am off on leave for a couple of months. It will be the perfect weather and I won't have to be juggling job and kids and all. Maybe I will get the chance to be a blind hog again.

I am hoping as well for a pre Christmas return, just hope it happens. If it don't there will be the devil to pay in Mississippi I can assure you that! We just have to get through this Ramadan stuff first and hopefully things will be smooth here at the end. I don't know if I told you or not but about 1/2 of the old Texas Brigade was together again. My unit is made up of soldiers from all the 3rd Ark towns in south Ark, also here with us here was a battalion of TX NG whose motto was simply a statement of their lineage "4th Texas" so for a few months there the old TX Bde was reunited and in active service together. I doubt many picked up on the historical significance of that but I did.
