I'm not sufficiently talented to write a book, so this discussion board is the medium I've chosen to share my research with you all and to ensure that our Civil War ancestors are remembered, memorialized and honored.
Incidentally, I've also built a database of Louisiana soldiers, and have started one for Missouri soldiers (still in the very early stages, nowhere near complete), and the same conditions apply to those. Feel free to use the material I post. As long as the soldiers' names and records are memorialized, my meager efforts have been sufficiently rewarded.
