Abe Bresler

I have been working on the Oakwood Cemetery In Tuscumbia Al. My project is to mark all Confederate
Soilders. I have a Abaraham Bresler ( 1838 - 1917 ) buried here, a Jew from Prussia who in one
article came to the US ( Detroit ) then to Ark. where he and Brother A.E ( Asher )Bresler
joined the Confederate Cause, after the war they went to Detroit and married sisters then moved
to Tuscumbia went into the merchintile buisness. Ref: Alabama Hertige Mag. Spring of 1995. also
this article has a picture of Abaraham. As I search for proof of service I only find a Abe Bresler
who draws a pension in Lincoln Co. Tn. says he was in the Triggs Lt. Artilery Ark. I have also
located a picture of A.E Bresler in a 1921 Confederate reunion in Florence Alabama, picture
taken by a Landrum, who is known for his pictures durning that period. Later I find Asher or A.E
as a officer in the Army of the Grand Republic, Florence Al. I need help here do I have
Confederates or Yankees the brothers would't go to Ark and joined different units!!!!!!
would they,
