That's probably what the Kelley marker was that I visited. It just did not look like it was 300 pounds. I would want something that would last forever. I do prefer the white upright. Once the marker is installed, my chances of going back to Big Flat are practically nil. So if an upright marker was toppled, I would not be around to see that it was repaired. And I've been in cemeteries where I questioned why uprights had not been set back up, and the caretaker said it wasn't the cemetery's job, that relatives of the deceased had the responsibility to see that stones were restored. Now what's the chance of that happening for an ancient grave?

However, as my husband would say, I'm just borrowing problems ahead of time. Goal: get a marker installed and let the future take care of itself.
