Bryan, I knew you would have far more personal insight into those records than I.

The record saying "Wounded and Captured" in "December 1864" in "Missouri" just did not fit. I would say that you are probably correct in your assumption that December 1864 was the date that he arrived in the Military prison. It is too bad that so many of those records are so sterile in their "facts". It sure causes you to lose a lot of the Big Picture.
