Check out "Google Earth." This is an amazing free program that allows one to study sites of interest without actually visiting them. Go to Google - at the top is a link called "More," click that and download Google Earth. I was able to trace the route taken by the Confederates to Prairie Grove, and all roads were labled (Cove Creek, Hog Eye, etc.).
