Charlie Pinkston passed way

I received the following from Roger MIlls SCV,and Arlene.
Charlie Pinkston of Mtn Home, Arkansas died in his sleep. Charlie was featured
in Nov-Dec issue of the Confederate Veteran and he will be sorely missed by the
Arkansas Division and especially the Gen. JO Shelby Camp of which he was a member.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Pinkston, and one grandson who is currently on
active duty in Iraq. Mrs Pinkston asked that the Sons of Confederate Veterans
help with the Military Honors at the funeral. I am asking for Volunteeers who are
willing to come and fall-in on the firing line beside and under the command of
Capt. Jerry Montgomery who leads all the military funeral details for Baxter
County veterans. The funeral will be Saturday afternoon @ 2;00 pm followed by the
Military Honors about 2;45pm.

Daughters and Sons.

Charlie Pinkston, Mountain Home's Real Confederate Son, died in his sleep last night.
He missed his dream of getting to be 100 years old. He was a WWII veteran.

Dixie lost a good one....
