As well as CPT Hammond of Co B. I have located the cemetery and began looking into process and costs of repatriation. THe cemetery is on private property right there in a subdivision in Murfreesboro, and until 2003 was in deplorable state of care and vandalism. It has been cleaned up by SCV Camp 33 there but I do not know how certain any care is. I know there is a description of where they were buried in this little cemetery and it would take some archaeologist to identify the burial and then would have to exhume to find 2 soldiers in one grave then whatever the law said would have to occur, if they would even let us remove them home. At the least we can now mark them with markers but I don't know about most folks, but I would like to bring them home. I am working on another batch of letters of a soldier in 2nd Ark Mtd Rifles who were brigaded with the 25th as well. Only go up right to battle of Dug Gap where he was killed.
