I see, if you find the teeth I would say (with tongue in cheek!)you will have taken a "bite" out of forensic historic archaeology! THe museum in Helena Arkansas used to have some of his personal effects. I remember seeing a display case with a book,and some other small items but that has been years ago. I know from what I read it was quite painful and probably the muscles began to tighten and contract as well as swelling and all. I know it didn't keep him down long though. He was evidently tougher than a pair of brogans!
