You wrote that your ancestor, Thomas Martin. Jr died of typhoid in early 1862 in the Female Academy Hospital in Nashville, TN. I think my GGG uncle, Pvt Lawson N. Chamberlain of Co A 9th Arkansas Inf Regt may have died about that time in the same hospital. Do you have the source of your information? I've been looking for any records of Conf men who died in that period in Nashville hospitals, but can't find anything. Thanks a lot.
