My Great Grandfather, B.F. Howard enlisted on Jan 9, 1862 at Dallas, Arkansas.He served in Company H, the 4th (Mcnair's) Arkansas Infantry Regiment. He fought and was wounded at the Battle of Pea Ridge, Arkansas. Does any of you all know if Dallas, Arkansas was a important enlistment and training center for the CSA ?
