I am looking for information on a battle that apparently took place in Parkdale, Arkansas. It is supposed to mentioned in a book called 1465 Days of the Civil War. It would have been written prior to 1964. I have a copy on an old letter that was written in 1964 that mentions the book.

...steamboat - name of it was The Handy. Grant's Landing was off the beaten
path except for foragers and deserters but there was fighting at Parkdale, then known as
Poplar Bluff. This battle is mentioned in a book called 1465 Days of the Civil War.
