Thanks for posting this Bryan. It was just yesterday that I was scanning back through some memoirs that Blunt had written after the war. My favorite part is where he discusses about he and Herron defeating Hindmand's army of "over thiry thousand" at Pairie Grove. And over the years I have read numerous reports in the OR's that Blunt wrote. And I do not recall one in which he took the blame for anything.
Do you know if Jennison really did commit these acts? I know he was capable of doing so. But if he had committed them against the "secush" I don't see Blunt forming any complaints. Or was this a spitting contest?
