That one that Jim Martin runs does not appear to be popular for Illinois.
The one I am talking about is like a museum on the internet.
They have all of these photos of the men and where they lived later on, etc.
That Illinois site is interested in everything. I know because I myself have
submitted information to them.
You may want to remember that the folks down South always seem to make more
of it than the former Union folks did. I have even heard of former Northern folks
moving South and then getting hot and heavy into all this history.
Sort of like my experience with trying to give away the family history and none
of my own cousins were interested.
Then I was contacted by this cousin up North who thought it was great.
No rhyme nor reason to what makes people tick.
