I have just finished Dr. Shea’s book, Fields of Blood: The Prairie Grove Campaign. Outstanding – a definite must have. Between Banasik and Shea, I feel I know more about the Battle of Prairie Grove than my great grandfather did, and he was there. Excellent work.
