But many today attribute the mob action of the State troops like Pat Cleburne and others to march on the Arsenal in the first place as being simply "War Fever". But I don't think that "War Fever" can totally by itself account for that level of passion. Especially in men like Cleburne and the other notables which accompanied those citizen/soldiers that marched on Little Rock without the blessings of Governor Rector. Something it would seem triggered this reaction by these armed troops that marched to Little Rock.
