Doyle, I think you're right. The Little Rock volunteer companies aren't specifically mentioned in anything I've read to date about the seizure of the Little Rock Arsenal, but I can't imagine that the Capital Guards, the Pulaski Lancers, and the Pulaski Artillery, at least, wouldn't have been involved. All three companies are mentioned in various prewar newspaper accounts as being very active -- both in drilling and in civic events -- and it's inconceivable to me that they would have stayed home when such a momentous event was taking place in their city.
