A period newspaper mentions the fact that the 50th Ind captured 2 flags, one of which was attributed to the 33rd ARk INf. How they identified it was not stated. Both flags that still exist are 2nd Natl patterns with no identification as to which unit but just from the 9th Wisc and the other from the 50th Ind. The location of the 3rd flag is still unknown. For some reason the Hoosiers knew that one of their flags was from the 33rd Ark but which one is impssible to determine at this time. Perhaps info will come out eventually. So to answer you question, no id on any flag that was the 33rd Ark Inf at this date.
