Nathan B. Dickerson served the confederacy in the 26th Arkansas Infantry Co. H. He also was later in 2nd Arkansas Union Infantry. While with the Union he deserted repeatedly and apparently did not want to be there. A confederate pension app. is listed for him. He was said to have been involved in a shooting and moved his family to Texas temporarly during the war. Trying to figure the nature of the switching sides and if he was granted the pension by the confederacy. Any help is appreciated.
