Nathan B. Dickerson of Johnson County Arkansas served in 26th Infantry Arkansas Confederate. Later is in 2nd Arkansas Infantry Union but deserts Union reapeatedly. He was said to have been involved in a gunfight and fled to Texas during war. Any possible info about the "gunfight" and circumstances of his Union service is appreciated.
