Has anyone read Daniel E. Sutherland's "A Savage Conflict: The Decisive Role of Guerrillas in the American Civil War"? If you have, would appreciate a quick review and would like to know how much of it deals with the conflict in Northern Arkansas. Also what recommendations do you have in this area. My studies have tended to focus more on Arkansas in the Army of Tennessee, but my geneology studies the past few years have indicated my family was heavily involved in the irregular warfare in northern Arkansas and has caught my interest.
