I'm looking for some evidence or sources about women who were discovered to have been serving in any Arkansas regiments during the Civil War. It doesn't matter if they were union or confederate women, just instances of it actually happening. I do have one piece of info from a 1925 Arkansas Democrate newspaper article that mentions a Democrat employee being the child of a mother who served as a Civil War soldier, but I'm curious to know if anyone has discovered any other surch stories.
