Burial for Union 1st Lieutenant, Benjamin Long

I'm looking for records on Benjamin Long. He was a member of the Missouri Cavalry, Union Army in the 8th Reg.
He was transferred to Company D, 2nd Reg., Arkansas Infantry, Union Army and served throughout the war. He also
served at one time as recruiting officer, stationed at Springfield. He was Captain of the Militia in
northwest Arkansas during reconstruction days, while Powell Clayton was governor of Arkansas. According to
family records, he was a U.S. deputy revenue collector at Fort Smith and Van Buren, when he became ill and died
at Van Buren, Arkansas. His funeral was conducted at Van Buren under the auspices of F. & A.M.
I'm trying to find the location of his burial. Thank you for any help. Phyllis 'Long' Rhodes
