Those 3rd Arkansas soldiers really deserve this monument and they have been waiting too long. When you read what they had to endure in January 1862 while marching toward Bath Va., [now it is called Berkeley Springs WV] and then Romney on Jackson's march - the weather conditions were horrendous.
