I have come into posession of a journal that was found in Ozark several years ago. Inside are about 12 pages of dispatches in the same form as that found in the Official Records. They are from an Adjutant General stationed at Helena and made out to various commands. My question, is there a way to authenticate this journal? What would be the proper route to take? Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.
