Yes, Arkansas sustained a pretty heavy hit at Shiloh. As an example, here's a letter from the "Osceola Hornets", an Arkansas company in the 2nd Confederate Infantry --

Corinth, Miss., April 11, 1862.
Major T. H. Mangum, Commd'g 2nd Confed. Regt.
Sir--I have the honor to represent that my Company, which is for the War, now numbers but nine (9) effective men, having been badly cut to pieces in the recent Battle of Shiloh. I therefore respectfully ask leave of absence for 10 days to go to Osceola, Ark., for the purpose of raising recruits for my Company.
CHARLES BOWEN,
Capt. Company G.

Appr'd.
T. H. MANGUM,
Major Commanding
2nd Confed. Regt.
