Ouchaita Guards

In the August 7, 1858 issued of the Gazette, there is an article on the formation of the Ouchaita Guards in Camden.

In Bryan Howerton's list of Volunteer Companies, I find

Ouachita Cavalry—Capt. James M. Gee; Co. H, 3rd Arkansas Cavalry.
Ouachita Grays—Capt. Hope T. Hodnett; Co. K, 6th Arkansas Infantry.
Ouachita Rifles—Capt. Samuel H. Southerland; Co. I, 18th Arkansas Infantry.
Ouachita Voltigeurs—Capt. Charles A. Bridewell; Co. D, 6th Arkansas Infantry.

Any idea if the Ouchaita Guards formed in 1858 became one of these companies or it is a separate company. If it is separate, any idea what became of it? It is possible that this is the company know as the City Guards, from Camden that was assigned to the 6th Infantry Regiment?
