Irish Company in Dandridge McRae's Brigade?

Need your help. In the diary of Ralph Leland Goodrich, a school teacher in Little Rock during the Civil War, Goodrich writes that he was taken up by the guard in Little Rock in February 1863 to be conscripted, against his will, into the Confederate service. He says he was taken to Dandridge McRae's camp south of Little Rock where he was stuck into an Irish company. Can anyone identify this Irish company for me; or, if there was more than one, give me their names? Also, if you have any information on the exact location of McRae's camp south of the city, I'd appreciate learning that as well. To see Goodrich's diary entry concerning this incident, go to: http://goodrichpoems.wordpress.com/1863-2/february-1863/ and look at February 14, 1863. (Ironically, Goodrich was teaching McRae's younger brother in his school at the time of this incident.)
