One would think that brothers would have opted to join a unit together. I can't find either my ggggrandfather Joel Walker or his brother Elijah. They were from Dardanelle, Yell County, Arkansas. I know they served, because I have a picture of a Civil War Reunion in Montgomery County about 1896. Montgomery County, Arkansas lies just south of Yell County. Can anyone help me find them?
