Would appreciate help in determining alternate names for these Volunteer Milita Companies. The information that I am providing comes from the Kie Oldham Papers. The Company Names are the names used by the Militia Regimental Commander when he requested the commissions or reported the election of the company officers. I have been trying to match up the election certificates with the Bryan Howerton's list of Company Names. A few have me stumped.
