I am trying to determine whether my ggg grandfather, John C Massey served in the Civil War, and if so, when and where. My records show that John was born 3 Jan 1812 in Fayette, Alabama and died 20 Feb 1908 in Pope County, Arkansas. I come up with several results for John Massey, but am struggling as to which one, if any, is my ancestor. Can anyone help me out? Allen Davis
