searching for more information

My Great Great Great Grandfather was Jonas Brewer who was a member of the arkansas peace society and had his court enlistment 12-19-1861 in Little Rock, Arkansas, and the muster-in-roll which was miss-spelled entered him as Jones Brewer. I know he was in the Marmadukes 18th Arkansas Infantry Regiment C.S.A. what I am really searching for is more information such as anything more, I know he died later in 1862 from disease in kentucky, due to his being buried by his son-in-law in the same regiment from family accounts. where can I find more information that can be confirmed such as battles like shiloh etc, to his death record, since he didnt die in battle I am assuming there is a death record somewhere, I would like to find his gravesite, if possible any information that helps, will be appreciated thanks
